DIRECTIONS TO NEWMARKET EQUINE HOSPITAL

FROM THE MIDLANDS AND THE NORTH (A14, M1, M6, A1)

Leave the A14 at Quy and take the A1303 to NEWMARKET. When you near the stallion statue roundabout by the NATIONAL STUD, you will see the hospital on your right hand side. You will need to use the roundabout to return onto the Cambridge Road and then use the left hand slip road to enter the hospital.

FROM THE SOUTH AND WEST (M2, M3, M4, M5, M11)

Travel along the M11 and turn off at JUNCTION 9 and take the A11 to NEWMARKET. Take the exit A1304 through SIX MILE BOTTOM to NEWMARKET.

When you near the stallion statue roundabout by the NATIONAL STUD, you will see the hospital on your left hand side. You will need to go round the stallion statue roundabout and take the A1303, Cambridge Road. Use the left hand slip road to enter the hospital

FROM THE EAST (A14)

Take the B1506 to NEWMARKET or

FROM THE NORTH (NORWICH) A11

Take the A1304 to NEWMARKET.

From either direction continue into the town until you reach the CLOCK TOWER at the top of the HIGH STREET. Go straight down the High Street, over 4 pedestrian crossings. Carry straight on up the hill and out of the town. You will see the turning to the ROWLEY MILE RACECOURSE on your right. Continue past this and remain on the main road between the gallops. You will come to the stallion statue roundabout by the NATIONAL STUD. At the roundabout, take the 3rd turn, signposted A1303, Cambridge Road. Use the left hand slip road to enter the hospital.

HOSPITAL EXIT: left turn out of hospital gates and left turn via slip road on to London Road. If coming from or going south, the roundabout must be used as right turns into and out of the hospital are not allowed

VISITORS WITH HORSES: turn left and go to unloading ramps and report to Hospital Office. There is plenty of room to park lorries and trailers opposite the unloading ramps.

VISITORS WITHOUT HORSES: turn right and park beside the right hand wing of Hospital.
