Internships

The hospital also runs a two-year Internship programme suitable for new and recently qualified graduates. Interns rotate through the hospital service areas and have patient care responsibility under the supervision of senior clinicians. There is an out of hours rota. The Internship provides suitable experience for most equine post-graduate specialist qualifications but also provides training programmes suitable for equine practice.

An opportunity has arisen for an additional (fifth) intern to be appointed early in 2010.  This is a 2 year rotating position suitable for a hard working ambitious recent graduate who wishes to specialise.
