Newmarket Equine Hospital is the largest and most modern equine hospital in Europe. Completed in September 2008 after 12 months of construction work (see Hospital Development), this unique state-of-the-art facility was purpose built on a virgin site and gathers all specialties of the equine profession.

Located by the 'stallion statue' roundabout, near the July racecourse and the National Stud, NEH is at the centre of the racing headquarters with the two racecourses, the training grounds, racing stables and stud farms all within proximity and with direct access to the local major roads (M11/A11 and A14).
