Paddocks

NEH is built over 15 acres and includes several large grass paddocks with post and rail fencing. Several turn out cages are also available.

Lameness Investigation Facilities

Lameness investigation facilities include:

• A floodlit 20x40m ménage (Polytrack surface)
• A hard lunge
• A soft lunge (Polytrack surface)
• Several trot ups, including a covered one

Parking And Unloading

In addition to our large unloading ramp, the casualty unloading ramp, located by the surgery suite, is used for fracture cases or horses with compromised mobility.

There are three large car parks: one for visitors, one for staff and one for vets.

Accomodations

All interns and externs at NEH live on site, for round the clock care to our in-patients, and so does our caretaker, who provides maintenance and security.
