In addition to many horses who had life saving treatment, in 2011 horses that had undergone surgery at NEH continued to achieve at the highest levels. In racing these included nine individual winners of 13 Group races including five at Group 1 level. In other disciplines there have been two winners of Dressage Grand Prix and two horses that have won 3* Three Day Events. Two Grand Prix Show Jumping winners also jumped clear rounds in the Nations Cup and one was placed in the World Cup Final. Showing winners have included Horse of the Year Show, Royal Windsor, and several at county shows. Numerous others have been successful at other levels and in other sports and occupations. Among these are winners of Veteran classes and much loved family horses and ponies who have been returned to their owners to enjoy their previous quality of life.
