Overview

Newmarket Equine Hospital is recognised as a category three RCVS accredited specialist equine veterinary hospital. It is the largest equine hospital in Europe and provides an equine referral service in a comprehensive range of disciplines. Our facilities are purpose built with specialist and sophisticated diagnostic and surgical equipment available. The hospital veterinary surgeons are consultants in their field, holding specialist qualifications which are endorsed with extensive clinical expertise. We believe that the combination of facilities and personnel available at NEH is unparalleled permitting veterinary surgeons to refer cases with the confidence that their clients and patients will receive the best possible service

The horses in our hospital are given the highest standard of veterinary care and we have five interns residing onsite providing round the clock care of inpatients. There are 5 qualified nurses in our specialist equine nurse team and a dedicated team of 12 full time yard staff with the experience and skill to look after all ages and breeds of horse that are admitted. Nurses and yard staff are available 24/7 as part of our emergency service.
