Radiographer

Nia Turley BSc(Hons)

Nia completed her degree in diagnostic imaging in 2007 when she graduated from the Centre for Radiography Education, University of Portsmouth.

A project on imaging of the equine distal limb lead Nia to take on a position with Dr Sue Dyson at the Animal Health Trust where she managed the daily running of radiography and scintigraphy at the Centre for Equine Studies. It was there that Nia developed her keen interest in equine nuclear scintigraphy.

After three years at the AHT, Nia joined Newmarket Equine Hospital in 2010 where she runs the scintigraphy section. She also manages the digital imaging system not only at the main hospital but also at clients’ studs and stables both locally and internationally.
