Welcoming Iris Maric-Mur to NEH
Newmarket Equine Hospital is delighted to welcome Iris Maric-Mur to the team.
Iris qualified from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in 2021, following this she completed multiple hospital internships where she gained knowledge in medicine, orthopaedics and surgery. She developed a keen interest in lameness and poor performance. This involved all aspects of practice from orthopaedic assessments, blocking and medicating to gastroscopy and poor performance examinations.
She has spent the last three and a half years further developing her skills in the sports medicine department. Iris has joined the team at NEH as the Lead Equine Vet of the Sports and Leisure team. She is excited to be in Newmarket and hopes to further develop the sports medicine options available to clients.
She enjoys offering an open and collaborative approach to lameness with owners and looks forward to meeting everyone on her travels!
